2015 System Upgrades

My big planned upgrade for 2015 was to get an analog rig. After researching a bit early this year, I just couldn't wait to get into vinyl, so I pulled the trigger in 2014!:P

Here she is, my 2015 upgrade: my new Kronos Sparta TT and AirTight cart!:audiophile:

Ha, now of course I need a pre and phono stage, so I guess that's on my list for 2015 now!:rolleyes:
 
Will be sending my Bel Canto DAC 3.5 mkII to Minneapolis for the 3.7 upgrade. Also (tentatively) planning on getting a 2nd ML Balanced Force 210 sub.
 
I really don't need all the power that my ML53 monoblocks put out. Considering downsizing to D'Agostino Momentum mono's.

Thanks guys! It's a great table! More importantly, I, like Kev, now understand what all the fuss is about!

Now to build that record collection...
 
I'm planning to upgrade absolutely nothing, just like this last year!

... the problem is that I still ended up acquiring quite a bit of gear last year :(
Let's see: Clearaudio Ring & Statement clamps, Ortofon Cadenza Bronze, a 2nd Phantom armwand, Audio Technica L3000 "Leatherhead" headphones, a Singlepower tube headphone amp, Stax SR-009 and SR-007 Mk I headphones, two KGSShv electrostatic headphone amps, Modwright'd Denon 3910, NAD M51 DAC, Eximus DP1 DAC, Audiophilleo 2 w/ PSU, a fresh 3 quads of KT120 for my tube monoblocks, a few more NOS tubes for various things. I think that's it. So yeah, hopefully much less than that this year.

I want a good ADC device to rip vinyl into DSD.

I'm thinking Apogee or Ayre QA-9 Pro. I want a balanced device straight out from the C1000T pre. Leaning towards the Ayre.

Any suggestions?

I might buy a McIntosh headset too...and then there's that headphone amp that is winning acclaim. :o
