I'll start. Mine is a Bob Dylan song that was immortalized by Jimi Hendrix.

"All Along The Watchtower"

Mark….That has aways been at the top of my list also, followed closely by the Jefferson Airplane cover of "Wooden Ships".

Diana Krall from her Live In Paris Album doing Joni Mitchell's "A Case of You".

I like Jewels' version too. She also does a great "If Six Were Nine".

Some of my fav are gone so,

Jethro Tull - Locomotive Breath
Humble Pie - Thirty Days in Hole
Bob Segar - Turn the Page

There are many for me. I'll just name three for now.

Heart doing any Led Zep song for starters. (Even Jimmy Paige has said he loves every heart version zep song they ever did).

George Winston doing Spanish Caravan by The Doors

The Fifth Dimension doing Sunshine Of Your Love by Cream and Ticket To Ride by The Beatles.

Re: Holly Cole and Carmen Gomes

I have many but of more recent origin I find the Carmen Gomes cover of Springsteens ''I'm on fire'' stunningly beautiful and the SQ is also outstanding.
Holly Cole's version of Tom Waits ''Temptation'' from 20 years ago is another favorite.
