Pristine quality guitar mastery. I have it on CD/ NAS but was not aware of the LP version, a lucky find.

Friedemann/ The Master Tracks, DMM direct metal mastering, 45 rpm double vinyl. Very good sound quality.

Divinyls - Desperate - 1983. seminal Aussie album with an Easybeats influence in McEntee guitar playing.

Track 1 - I'll Make You Happy - written by Harry Vanda & George Young. such a superb cover version. RIP Chrissy and George

Beck - Colours. What a nice refreshing synth bathed pop album Beck has produced. certainly a lot more enjoyable than his boring last album morning phase.

Following Slowgeezer’s lead I had to chase this out-of-print German Speakers Corner re-issue down to the US to get my copy. Very lucky though, managed to get a still sealed unit.

Illinois Jaquet/ Swing’s The Thing, 33 rpm vinyl.

Just out of interest I also got the cheaper Wax Time re-issue - no comparison. That one has a mixed SQ, not recommended.

Another nice one from Mack Avenue:

Grammy winner from a few years back, Cecile McLorin-Salvant/ Dreams And Daggers, 33 rpm vinyl. Really superb sound too.

On a side note, which genius came up with this three way gatefold? Really impractical and a pain to handle.

Dead Can Dance ‎– Spleen And Ideal. original 100gm 4AD UK release - MPO pressing. perfect pressing and sounds awesome.

I remember buying this when it was released in 1985 and I was pretty amazed back then. It still sounds fresh today. what do they say - I like their old stuff better than their new stuff
