Midnight Oil - 10,9,8 .......... excellent sounding reissue. Oils last night live really shined on the tracks from this and Place Without a Postcard.

The Rolling Stones ‎– Their Satanic Majesties Request. 50th-anniversary limited edition ( # 739) , includes Michael Cooper’s original 3-D lenticular cover photograph with quadruple fold out. New remasters of mono and stereo in vinyl and hybrid SACD. The albums were remastered by Robert Ludwig. Vinyl cuts by Sean Magee @ Abbey Road Studios.

total OCD buy today but I did not thunk I would see it in the local shop. The stereo vinyl sounds bloody amazing. best I have ever heard this album.

The Horrors - V. almost did not buy this after the rather crappy Luminous. This is really good - dark, atmospheric, and channeling some Numan, Depeche and Pink Floyd with a sound of their own. A true return to form.

I have a feeling that this new Horrors album will be their "New Gold Dream "or Disintegration. Yes, its that good with similar density to the sound.

My wife and I heard him with his pianist & drummer at an intimate jazz club here. We sat about 15 feet from them.

It was the the best live jazz show I have heard anywhere, with the possible exception of the Oscar Peterson band (with bassist Ray Brown) in Edinburgh, Scotland in the early 80s.

Not only was the musicianship of the three performers beyond all expectations, Christian had this way of connecting with us in the audience while he played. I'll never forget that experience.

Wow, Jim, that must have been a powerful experience. A tough benchmark you have there, I like it [emoji3].

Iggy and the Stooges - Ready to Die from 2013. underrated ripper of an album. Williamson's blistering guitar is in great form and Iggy is being Iggy. Great album.

Killing Joke - Night Time. THE Killing Joke sound - amazing album. original EG 1984 UK pressing.
