I am sorry I don't understand your post.
It was in English
Brits might disagree that we speak English.![]()

Guys-I kept thinking of my fourth grade nun, Sister Tiger Claire. She would have lined all of them up and given them a beating.
Paul-I think if we couple what you said above with what I said yesterday, it sums up my feelings on this subject. I don't remember there being any requirements for mastery of the English language in order to join an audio forum. If there were, there would only be a few people talking to each other. I can think of one forum right off the top of my head that the owner wouldn't be qualified as a member because he has a real hard time stringing intelligent sentences together (and I'm not talking about you Mike).
....HA! I had one jam my head under a desk & attack my back with a 15" ruler!Maybe it was my 12 years in Catholic school that have us on the same page. The Nuns spanked me routinely with a ruler, yard stick, palm of the hand, you name it. I must confess, however, I always had it coming. That said, the good Sisters certainly couldn't have played in today's NFL.
For me it's simpul if i have a dificult time reding youre post becuz of multupul instance of lak of punkchuashun lak of capital terribel spelling other erors i wont red it if english is not the primery language for the postur i understand but otherwize im not going to try to figur out wut your saying put another way
For me, it's simple: If I have a difficult time reading your post because of multiple instances of lack of punctuation, lack of capitalization, terrible spelling, and other errors, I won't read it. If English is not the primary language for the poster, I understand, but otherwise I'm not going to try to figure out what you're saying. Put another way,...
It it has nothing to do with how good a person you are, how financially successful you are, or anything else regarding the kind of person you are. It's simply about how difficult it is to read your posts.

The English the Indians and the Chinese all wonder about our English. I was at a meeting with a guy from Georgia , a guy from New England Mass. , a French Canadian speaking English and myself. The 5 Chinese translators looked like they wanted a refund on their English lessons . They asked us to speak slowly only the guy from Georgia slowed down the one guy who needed to speed up.
In China we are not called English they say we are the Dollar men.
Myles you want a period at the end, a lot of the world says you are wrong it is a full stop. If I can go to Mongolia and follow the english I get I think these post are a snap. Again it is a Audio form not a English lit Form . (full stop )
Please tell me what you don't understand and I will elucidate my post to better facilitate comprehension on your part.
When speaking of low frequencies...using base, not bass.
I agree. I think we need more genres of music. Maybe we could mix country music with rap and we could call it CRAP.![]()
The over moderation of freedom of speech or modding to an agenda. Sure amps etc sound different, but I want to be able to hear from the people who say otherwise.
Oh and people who disagree with me about what sounds correct - what's wrong with your EAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRSSSS? :snicker:
Great, a perfectly good discussion turns into an episode of The Grammar Nazis
My bad punctuation or no capitalization stems from time constraints. I usually read and respond while working so I try to get my thoughts and responses out quickly.
This all reminds me of something my wife and I went through years ago when we discussed all kinds of relationship possibilities to keep things exciting. Somehow we were put in contact with a local Poly-amorous group out of Philly and met with a few for dinner and talking about what they were all about. One very interesting group of people who wrote up contracts and provided testing papers for any extended relationships they were involved in. They were a very intelligent group of people and not just anyone could do what they do and keep relationships together. They had a message board and anytime anyone posted something with bad grammer or punctuation, they were highly chastized and pretty much run off the board.
Sometimes it's overkill when people are just trying to communicate. We never did anything with what we learned, but it sure was an interesting and eye opening experience. It did sour me on how anal people with just a tad more smarts than average can treat others just because they never make a spelling or grammar mistake. They expected every post, from a single line to a page to be proof read and spell checked before hitting the reply button. I would say "Get a Life" but they already had pretty interesting and complicated lives.
Brian-Since your Polyamory group was busy having sex with people outside of their marriage and writing up contracts to help others do the same, it seems like they would be too busy to care about grammar and spelling.
I'm majorly late to this party, but here's my list:
1. Digital bashers / vinyl zealots.
2. Overly sensitive members that are too easily offended and want extreme politeness to the point of stifling any spirited discussion.
3. Forum owner sycophants. (No offense Mike). : )
4. Thead police. These people want to complain the second any post is off topic like it's the end of the world. Who cares? Who made the rule that no thread can ever diverge off topic?
5. People who want to point out that the topic has already been covered so the OP should just read archived threads. Like that's the same as a fresh discussion, not.
6. Lurkers who never post (you know who you are). Contribute already!
7. What are you listening to threads. I know im in the minority on this one, but I feel these threads are posted to frequently, but rarely read by anyone.
