Too much " evil" mean to be a joke thAt the titles used the word a lot. Today, the word "dark" is used. The Dark Knight, Thor, the Dark World, Star Trek Into the Darkness...I can't go to a theatre without a flashlight anymore, it's too dark.

I get that now Barry. I thought I was up to date with all the pages of this thread and missed the last page that you referred to. You are right about the overuse of certain things tho.

The bright white satin light of the good heavenly glorified touch of the virgin goddess from the crystalline transparent blue lagoon. :)
{Rating: PG 21, for mild/extended climbing/climaxing nudity.}

How's that for an upbeat movie title Barry?

Last night; first time on Blu ::

Love this flick (directed by Steven Spielberg), and the great majestic musical score. ...For me it is more impactful, emotionally charged, more rewarding, better acted, better cast, better cinematography, better locales, better soundtrack, more immersive sound, better EVERYTHING than 'Twelve Years a Slave' by Steve McQueen.

It was nice to revisit, this time on Blu.

First time on Blu (luv that flick; loosely based on true events) ::

* A worthy upgrade over my DVD, which was non-anamorphic (1998 - bad) and only Dolby Surround 5.1 (highly compressed).

One of my favs - thanks for the heads up that it's out on Blu-ray, I'll pick it up to replace my DVD.

A couple of nights ago again after many years ...

Barry Lyndon ~ Dir. Stanley Kubrick

A pity there wasn't an acting role for Ryan O'Neal :happy:
