I haven't heard this album in years, but I have to say, I don't remember it ever sounding this good either. The music is very odd (definitely an acquired taste), but the inner detail and texture of the guitars and bass are amazing. A great quality recording. And all of the space and air around Less Claypool's voice is quite stunning.

Jim.......Interesting to see you listening to a few jazz recordings lately.

Be careful. It will grow on you.

Both of this and another Hoff Ensemble recording "Quiet Winter Night" are a combination of light jazz and ambient at times. Almost hard to classify but definitely towards the Jazz spectrum.

Anna Calvi - Live at Meltdown"

First time trying this artist. I heard she has a very different voice and is an excellent guitarist. We shall see.

“Up all night” by The War on Drugs. Moments like these I just sit in awe of my sound system and how it makes my favourite music sound so incredible. A big shout out to the Sharks for your advice, especially Mike.
