What are you listening to tonight ?

Joan Jett/ Bad Reputation. Her first album, and still the best.

The cover looks exactly how the music sounds. A slightly immature rock brat, with more attitude than anything else. Fantastic.

Sinne Eeg is absolutely amazing. I'm almost done collecting all her CDs. Her rendition of "Windmills Of Your Mind" is stunning. If you enjoy jazz and female vocals, she's definitely worth a listen.

A little known couple from Vancouver BC Canada. Their version of John Prine’s Long Monday can be found on YouTube (they sing it in the back of an old car by the water). It’s wonderful.

Eric Clapton; Journeyman on LP

My DAC doesn't do MQA but I recently upgraded my ACS10 with the software so I could at least receive higher resolution.

Under "playlists" then "masters", I recommend the 2L playlist where the songs are 352 bits rate. Sound is excellent and I'm sure even more if the full MQA unfold.

I checked out Sinne last night, listened to her new release We Just Begun which is great, backed by a Bigg Band. I also listened to Beauty Of Sadness which I think the title track is my favorite song of hers so far.

I remembered her name but not the album, now I will have to check out the album you listed, LOL. What's interesting is her albums are mostly all different, by accompaniment. The album prior to the new one is just her with an acoustic bass on every track. BOS also has an interesting version of Strawberry Fields. Good recommendation and I'd say a person should be able to find one of her albums they like. She was born in 1977, which surprised me based on her styles of Jazz vocals. Very good though.

Sinne Eeg, "Waiting For Dawn"

Her version of "Strawberry Fields" is interesting. The more of her albums I listen to the more they are growing on me. And yes her albums are all different. I just ordered her "Remembering You." I still have to locate her "Waiting for Dawn" CD which will complete my set - until she produces a new one. Being so young I'm hoping she'll be around for a while.

A day with Miles Davis. Has anyone purchased The Complete Columbia Album Collection Limited Edition Box Set of Miles Davis - 70 CDs and 1 DVD released in 2010? ... I was wondering about the quality of the CDs ...
