It is with my warmest regards that I thank everyone who expressed support for me and condolence for Marlene's passing. Today marks one month. My spirits have been lifted day after day by the kind words, thoughts, prayers, and support I have received, both online, in private message, by email, US Mail, and telephone. I appreciate your understanding that my lack of response to each post was not because I wasn't moved by each and everyone's responses because I was. I simply could not find a place outside my anguish that allowed me to think in a positive state of mind. After a month's time I am finding my way again, accepting the reality of Marlene's absence in my life despite the heartache. I want to let everyone know how much your support has meant and helped me not feel so alone during this time. I can't thank you enough for keeping me in your prayers and thoughts. I am indeed fortunate to have so many kindhearted, generous, caring friends. Once again, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

What a handsome fellow! This is awesome of you to thank us but deep down, I know we really do love and respect each other. I really feel and felt your pain and appreciate how much you trusted us to let us know how and what you were feeling. For Dan and everyone else going through a little hell here on earth, please know we are all here for each other. It does and will get better.

Thank you so much Dan!

Dan, as someone who lost my mother at age 13 and my first wife at 41, I can say that life WILL improve with time. Your friends will be there for you. You are going to have much to look forward to. All the best, and God bless.

Dan,

It is good to see you back and thank you for trusting us with your loss during this difficult time. You should and you must take time to mourn your beloved Marlene but I am sure that even Marlene would like you to be back in the thick of things in time. Once again our prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Sincerely.

Dan...I am so sorry for your loss. I have not been participating very often AS and haven’t been at AA in years so I was not aware of Marlene’s passing. My heartfelt condolences. My thoughts are with you. I hope the heartache with time gets replaced with the glow of the wonderful memories of a life lovingly shared with Marlene. Once again my sincerest apologies for the late message.

Gentlemen.......Thank you for your kindness and concern.

Cyril.......No need to apologize. News like this travels at its own time. I appreciate your thoughtful and heartwarming comments.
