Unfortunately, this sounds more like a list of grievances than evidence of any real changes occurring for now.
The details of both the UK and China deals remain far from clear. In fact, the only agreement with China so far is to hold off on tit-for-tat escalation.

“Bessent said the two sides agreed to a framework to keep talks progressing, which he said should help avoid any future tit-for-tat escalation of the kind that followed Trump’s April 2 tariff announcement”

Did you miss the part where the U.S. dropped the tariffs on China from 145% to 30% for 90 days while they continue hashing out the final deal?

And for those worried about slightly higher prices, once the Income Tax and Tax on SS is resolved, along with all the energy sales you will most likely have the money to offset the higher price purchase.

I have dropped out of the conversation because it is impossible to have a logical conversation with those who have been blinded by Trump's non-stop lies and half truths. So far all the bull shit he has been putting out has done nothing for normal working Americans. The only ones who have benefited so far are the ultra rich with their "tax break" pay off being made permit. The common man and woman are suffering from much higher prices for everything. A recent trip to the grocery store shows the highest bill we have ever paid, and we did not even get any meat that trip.

He constant promotes himself and spouts all of the great things he is doing, while actually doing almost nothing. He has put up a sign in the White House, "for sale, all are welcome to pay me". Qatar is giving all kinds of money including a brand new jet. What else is hidden in that new "Air Force One"? Qatar is the one that traditionally has been where the money flows through for the pay offs.

I know by my replying to you I am going to get all kinds of dumb remarks, including snarky insults from the biggest asshole I have ever encountered in any kind of forum. The same 4-6 people will make post after post throwing insults and comments. As their new Führer has taught them to do.

I do know it is well past time to stop the insults and reactions to every comment showing what a lying criminal their Golden God really is; but he has taught them to bring on the insults, and hang on his every word, although it has been proven over and over and over that his words are empty. He never actually follows through on anything; he takes credit for anything whether he accomplished it or not, and blames everyone else for all of his missteps and illegalities when they are shown. Ask Rudy, even ask Musk who's business has gone down the tubes, and has been kicked to the curb, after he single handedly bought the election for Trump. Ask Pence who would have been hung if they got their hands on him on 1/6. The list of those who have been run over and ruined after joining in with Trump is beyond belief. But they still keep coming, and all eventually get kicked to the curb when he finds a new scapegoat or person he can use.

First, I don't know where you live or what news/information you pay attention to, but there is a huge reset going on in several sectors of the US and Globally to follow.

1- Resetting to Common Sense and Sanity
2- Resetting the price of Meds we pay in the US as we have been subsidizing all the lower prices charged in other countries
3- Resetting all the Trade agreements so the US again is not being ripped off to make things cheaper for everyone else
4- Resetting away from the Central Banks and Money that is not backed up by anything and can just be printed at will and sent to NGOs and other countries for laundering
5- Resetting Science with all the truth and studies coming out about the covid shots, masks, 6 feet, and Ivermectin
6- Resetting the US Military by weeding out all the confused and mentally challenged people who don't know if they are Male or Female
7- Resetting the US Food industry to remove all the bad crap that the same manufactures omit from the same products sold in other countries
8- Resetting the Judicial system to once again follow the Constitution and Laws already in place

  • Attempting to overturn election results

  • Ignoring elected legislature by use of executive orders of dubious legality
  • Detaining individuals, including citizens, without due process
  • Deporting people without due process
  • Denigrating individuals of non-traditional ethnicity, life-style, or sexual valance
  • Denigrating science and promoting public biases and prejudices
  • Indulging in personal corruption, e.g. crypto schemes while promoting legal changes to enable those scheme
  • Ignoring court orders and abusing and threatening judges.
  • Aiming to replace experience, expert, non-partisan public officials with political hacks
  • Forbidding established media access to briefings, etc., e.g. banning AP from White House press conferences.
  • Aiming undermine an independent judiciary
  • Ignoring or denigrating long-standing treaties and relationships with erstwhile allies.
  • Openly admiring authoritarian leaders in foreign countries
  • Taking a bind eye to genocidal actions perpetrated by supposed allies.

Illegal Border crossings are at an all time low after being at an all time high for 4 years. I guess all the Illegals decided to stay home this year.

And when Tax on SS and Income goes away, these blinded should continue to pay the taxes. As gas does come down because we are producing our own, they should all continue to pay $3.00+ while we pat $1.98. Funny how they will criticize and name call, but will also suck up on all the good that gets done. The reason we are still in the mess we are in because of those still not awake. Don't worry, lots of news will be trickling out over the next year to show what monsters and criminals they have been supporting over the years. Hopefully what has been done to our children will unite most people when they learn the disgusting details.

Biden bragged that the Supreme Court told him he had no authority to payoff student loans, but he went around them and did it anyway. This was his attempt to buy votes for the 2024 election.

First all, what I said had nothing to do with Republican or Democrat. It in fact has to do with Donald Trump. If you do any research at all you will see that he was a Democrat until he got pissed because Obama insulted him with his reaction to Trump's birtherism nonsense. He switch to Republican just before he declared he was running. There are quotes as to why he switched. Feel free to research them yourself. You may not like what you read and his true feelings on the Fox Entertainment News viewing cult like followers.

The person camping in our White House is a dictator want to be. He is doing everything in his power to damage/destroy our democracy. That in fact is what I am against.

The Kool-aide quote is hilarious since it is in fact normally used to describe his mindless followers or cult members. The comparison is to the cult members at Jonestown mindlessly drinking the poison Kool-aide and therefore committing mass suicide (most not knowing that is what was going on). It is comparing Trump's followers as mindless lemmings like those at Jonestown.

That is wrong. Inflation is not at zero. The latest figures has inflation currently at 2.3%. This is the highest figure that it was up until covid hit. And yes, it has steadily been coming down since the covid spike.

Prices are the highest they have ever been. Inflation only shows how much they are increasing. Therefore this shows that prices are actually still rising, not going down as he promised "on day one".

I also was not a Biden fan, but I at least can tell the truth about what was going on during his administration. When he left office, by all metrics economist use, the US economy was the strongest it has been since the Bill Clinton administration. It was definitely the strongest economy in the world. In his first quarter he has destroyed the economy. All the metrics show it at a level similar to what happened just before the great depression. I hope that it turns around, for the sake of the American people.

The monthly CPI in April 2025 increased 0.2%...

Today even the WSJ, that bastion of liberal thought, is seriously questioning many of tRump's recent actions.

At this point in time, who knows what effect tariffs (if any) will have on the price of electronics or anything else.

Yeah, it is a waste of time. The only thing I got from this altercation is the unsettling realization of how disturbed and delusional some people are (Oh, and the realization that I am actually a Chinese bot). These are scary times, and I'm afraid they won't stop until the U.S. is left in complete ruin. But no worries, it will be Biden's fault…
