Actually in Kansas this very thing is actually happening, unless you are questioning the local news and the farmers that they have been interviewing. How can you say what you wrote in your numerous posts isn't political when you are calling out Trump by name and trashing his policies?
Also, what/who is your source for information that farmers are selling their seeds and machinery because of Trump policies?
What about 60 Minutes and CBS? MSM = Main Stream Media which includes all the bought and paid for with tax dollar outlets. CNN, NBC, CNBC, ABC, NPR, AP, PBS, Reuters, and all the ones that just parrot the same crap.Again, not sure what MSM is referring to, however lets please try to remember their actual name, which is Fox Entertainment News. Even their name tells that they do not even consider themselves a news outlet. And also remember they had to pay almost a billion dollars in judgements and fines for promoting and spreading lies.
I was trying not to make any personal attacks, but yeah I witness it daily.
He was 10 years old when he moved to Delaware, I would hardly call that Growing up in Scranton. He has been in politics since he got out of college and never had a real week to week job. Good try though.I am not talking about the previous office holder. I was not a fan, but at least he does understand what working class families go through. He was one of the only holders of that office who was raised in a working class household, in Scranton PA (not a hot bed of wealth). Most others were born with a silver spoon in their mouth (as the saying goes) and have little to no understanding of what working Americans go through. A large swath of Americans work pay check to pay check and these changes are far from their ability to weather through.
Except the the actual MSM in the US today is Fox News (by far the most watched TV news), which hardly parrot's Democratic Party positions or talking points.
I know, you walked a mile to school everyday, uphill, both ways ..............![]()
I guess "Weird" fizzled out?Not true that FOX is the MSM. ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, NY TIimes and the Washington Post are examples of the MSM. They all get their Democratic talking points provided to them by the Democratic party complete with buzz words that were focus group approved. It's hilarious how the MSM parrots the buzz words provided to them everyday.
FOX news does a great job of regularly putting together montages of all the network stooges being parrots and saying the exact same thing.
"Dark Woke" is the latest in buzzwords to come from the Democratic focus groups. Be prepared to hear more about the "Dark Woke" strategy if it grows any legs instead of ridicule.
I see a lot of spin out there. But facts are facts and if one is pragmatic, then one can see the damage tariffs do to the country that imposes them as punishment. This is all backed up by history. I'm critical of Navarro; I think he has deceived the administration. How can you say what you wrote in your numerous posts isn't political when you are calling out Trump by name and trashing his policies?

We'll have to disagree about this. Some of those news outlets you mention are compulsive about fact-checking, and Fox News is notorious for not bothering (or even worse, continually discussing things as true that it knows are false). I don't really care about opinion in the news, only information (i.e., facts), and in order to do that one must turn to what you term the MSM. Anyone with half a brain (which leaves out our current United States Secretary of Health and Human Services) can filter out the facts from opinions, except perhaps on Fox News (where there are few facts and an abundance of opinions)Not true that FOX is the MSM. Facts are facts and people did not pay Income Tax until 1913. And guess what paid for the Government and services prior to Income Taxes? That is correct, Tariffs.I see a lot of spin out there. But facts are facts and if one is pragmatic, then one can see the damage tariffs do to the country that imposes them as punishment. This is all backed up by history. If you practice being pragmatic, its much easier to sort out fact. If you have emotional ties to your viewpoint of the world; that attachment will reduce your ability to perceive fact. Life does not care what our viewpoint of the world is. But quite simply if life does not agree with our viewpoints, its we who suffer, not life. Put another way all the viewpoints we have about life are made up stories. When we attempt to live our lives as if the stories are real, when they come into conflict with life, life wins out, not made up stories.
Put simply, I wasn't 'trashing' anyone except Navarro.
The source about farmers is a relative whose job is to advise farmers on market conditions and what to plant.
You are missing the bit about punishment which I was careful to include in my statement.Facts are facts and people did not pay Income Tax until 1913. And guess what paid for the Government and services prior to Income Taxes? That is correct, Tariffs.
Before an income tax was established, the majority of funds given to the federal government was derived from tariffs on domestic and international goods.
It worked back then and it will work again when all fully ironed out.
So removing Income Taxes and putting money back into peoples pockets is Punishment? And why was it OK for 175 countries to impose Tariffs on the US but it's bad when we put them on other countries? China's whole economy comes from all the cheap crap they send to the US. If we no longer buy it, they fall apart. It is all part of negotiations and right now negotiations are underway to replace all the goods from China with goods from other countries. You are missing the bit about punishment which I was careful to include in my statement.

Actually China has plenty of markets. That is part of why the tariffs won't work on them.So removing Income Taxes and putting money back into peoples pockets is Punishment? Not at all and not what I said. If you want to get to the bottom of things its helpful to not distort things in this manner. I noticed also you didn't answer my prior questions. So your relative left the farmers confused on what to plant to the point some farmers want to sell off their farming equipment?
Absolutely.Hopefully 'you're taking notes' and when the dust settles you will have a bargaining chip or two. As for those manufacturers with short memory, adios amigos, plenty more fish in the pond !
