Sonus Faber Evolutions in walnut just showed up .....

Update:

My Sonus Faber Evolutions are freaking awesome. They could be playing ALL day and I never get tired of them. Amazing vocals. They love the Dartzeel (as do I). If SF's get better up the line, I am in trouble. They look beautiful. I know, no pictures yet, but they are coming. Wow! I am in love (with them).

Nelson...I am waiting for the Olympica line to hit US shores so I can check them out at a dealer. Do you have the retail suggested pricing for the first three models (I, II and III)?

Thanks

That's a great price for one of the best speakers in the world. They do require patience and muscle to properly setup - but once setup - they are worldly. I heard my Aida's, XLF's and MBL 101 Xtremes side-by-side in Phoenix and the MBL's were on another level (and should be at more than twice the price of the Aida's), but the Aida's were the next best IMO and definitely could fit in a normal sized room. The MBL's in my opinion need a 25 x 35 room minimum and on a floor which can support thousands of pounds in a single horizontal position.

The Aida's bi-amped (like I have them) and properly setup, are catapulted to another level again. I spent 8 hours on Thursday going through my speaker setup routine. I moved all gear and put some "magic sliders" temporarily on the bottom of the Aida's. I was then able to easily slide them around on the carpeted floor. I have my chair and the speakers in such a great position now, it really feels as if the musicians have assembled in my room for a private concert.

At the price listed, if someone has the the resources and the room, it's a no brainier IMO.
