Sonus Faber Evolutions in walnut just showed up .....

The Alexia require more of a commitment because of their size. We do have the Dagostino to go with the Alexia so the cost of admission is a little lower to get in. I'm not sure but I believe the gear that I do have will be very nice with the Raidho as well. I'm hearing great things about Soulution and that has me thinking too. Decisions, decisions.

:)

I do appreciate everyone's input. Donations will be accepted until the end of the year. Ha!

but then again - not to stir the pot . . . . . .

Alexia's are the same price as D2's

that's what i'm currently trying to figure out . . .

I believe you. Sometimes a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do. ;)

Okay, maybe they are next. I'm thinking D2's might be the ticket.

Hmmmm.

Thanks for all your advice along the way. I really appreciate it. I'm happy to share my experiences, maybe it will help someone not make my mistakes. Any little package arrive for you my friend?

Haha, so much pressure on you Joe. Everyone wants you to try all the gear in high end :) Can I submit a few brands for you to try in your queue? So lets see, after your TAD, Sonus Faber, you have the Wilson Alexia lined up and then the Raidho. Let's thrown in some Rockport speakers in there! Just kidding, I know you are enjoying the ride and appreciate you sharing your experience with your gear. I do think you would love the Raidho speakers. One of the best speakers I've heard. Then again, what you have ain't too shabby either.

Should arrive today! Soulution is an interesting brand that bucks the trend of trying to use low or no negative feedback. Would love to hear it someday.

That's true but I bet the Alexia are way more dynamic and have a lot more bass.

OMG! :exciting:

Mike and Mark were blown away with the Soulution 710. The new mono blocks are supposed to be off the chart awesome!

I told Joe before... Given the size of my room, I wish my wife let me keep the Evo I would have packed up the Futura without questions..

I'm glad she made you sell them to me :audiophile:

The EVO's are truly an awesome speaker.

You still can't see them Bob? Amazing. Did you see Joe hanging his underwear (pink thong) on the one?

Excellent to hear Joe!

I know what you mean about synergy. I heard the Futuras yesterday with a slew of different amps and nothing sounded as good as the Soulution 710 on them. Not even close. The Accupase was too muddy. The ML53 was too clinical. Mc was too muddy. But the Soulution.....wow.

Mike,
Soulution + Aida

So Joe, I've heard these can be difficult to drive. Any chance on hooking them up to the Carver amp? I'd be interested in how it drives them.

I could easily do that late tonight, but with only 20wpc I don't really expect too much.

I heard them with a Ref 150 (not broken in) and while I could see plenty of potential (what I heard was really nice) I think the Ref 150 was a minimum. I have a feeling the Job 225 will be outstanding.

Frequency range: 40Hz–30kHz. Sensitivity: 86dB/W/m. Nominal impedance: 4 ohms. Power handling: 25–200W
