Siltech Royal Signature Series

Rod...I get mine tomorrow. I too am surprised by how quick the shipment landed.

As the other gear hasn't arrived yet, I will play with most of it out of the box and put the rest on the cable burner then rotate.

Wow, also a fast turnaround. I'll pick mine up from the dealer on Monday. I unfortunately can't use them at the moment anyways because something went wrong with an LED swap in one of my Bryston amps and now the amp won't power up properly, the LED doesn't work and one of the screws I need to remove to get the cover off stripped :( What a nerve racking mess

Rod...Painful. And you will have to pack and move the beast too...

I have similar issue and have to get the Denon AVP serviced. There are capacitor issues. I've been putting it off and living with the longer and longer warm up times. Soon the 60lb block will need to be sent off.

I have one last option before I need to return it. I'm going to attempt to drill the screw with an easy out kit to dry and get it out. Baring no disaster unless I simply chicken out of the procedure no damage will come to the cover and Bob's your uncle and I can at least get into the amp and double check all the connections and even put the original LED back in to see if that at least works. It's quite possible I simply didn't align the pins that connect the heat sinks to the chassis properly when putting the amp back together. I'm really hoping that's all it is.

In the house. No close ups out of respect for the integrity of the brand but I will say there are subtle changes with the latest G7 revisions.

I wasn't expecting a significant improvement over the Wireworld Platinum Eclipse G7 interconnects out of the box. I am surprised yet again. These are a huge step up and they continue to improve every play.

Quite simply the Siltech Princess convey more information in every respect. Comparatively, every other cable I have tried to date is missing something, somewhere in the music. You wouldn't think so until you play the music you know and then you are immediately hit with a more elaborate presentation.

These deliver a depth of presence that I have not heard before along with additional resolution that I was not expecting out of my loudspeakers and components.

As these break-in over the next 80 hours, I would expect to approach technical performance limitations with this rig. However, I am told that Siltech Prince loudspeaker cables will take it all the way there.

Royal Signature are everything they promise to be even out of the box.

So if I were to rank the Wireworld Platinum's now, I would place them closer to the i770s which in turn rates the Siltech a better value proposition.

Steve, I was wondering about your comparison to the the WW Plats, I too think the Royal Signature are another level above the Plats, I have both running both side by side in my system. To me it's like the WW plats are a cable that just give you an open window where you realise as you are listening that they really are a great cable that just gets out of the way & leaves no smear. The Signature Royal has the same qualities & while I sit there & listen I realise maybe that the gold & technology in these cables do indeed make for a more realistic sound. It's not that they add, it's more to the point of they let you into the recording deeper & more info is retrieved with an extremely enjoyable presentation.

I'm curious about something, for those of you that have had an opportunity to hear both the Crown series of cables and non crown signature cables, has anyone preferred the non crown models? Since all the crowns fundamentally use different technology i.e. mono crystal I could see how it would produces a sound that perhaps some people may not like in comparison to the "regular" :) gold/silver used in the other Signatures cables.

I am told the Crown models need no to little burn in time given their mono crystal nature.

Well, although not Royal Signature they were certainly every bit as expensive due to their length and upcharge for the Furutech XLR's. I picked up my 45' 330i's on Monday

Those Furutech XLR looks good!

Agreed :) The build quality is exceptional. Definitely more worthy of the Siltech cable then the stock Neutrik XLR's in my opinion which cost less than $10. I believe the Signature series uses the Neutrik NC3MXX-EMC & NC3FXX-EMC for their stock option.

I'll be the 1st to admit though the huge price of the Furutech is mostly in bling factor.

Love my Siltechs. Don't know why I waited so long. Siltech loom is equivalent to a great component upgrade IMO and they aren't even broken in yet. I have a mixture of Royal Sigs and Classics.

So true!!

Yes, wish I had more. Toxic. But that'll do for now.

That Golden Ridge AES/EBU is a ripper.

Has anyone compared the Siltech Signature series power cables , say the Ruby Hill II and Ruby Mountain II to Furuetch's Nanoflux and/or new Nanoflux NCF? If so how did the 2 manufacturers compare?

I have the RMII and have compared to Furutech Powerflux, and Furutech 3TS-20 braided with Techflex Anti-Stat. All these cables were terminated with Furutech FI-50 Rhodium connectors.

Each were also compared to the Shunyata Zitron Anaconda.

The RMII was the best performer and also demonstrated zero emissions.

That said, the braided Furutech bulk wire was a solid performer. I'm going to make some more up to the following specification in confidence that these will be a great performer. Targeted for pre-amps and tape sources.

Every power cable to component is also plugged into a Furutech Flux-50 inline power filter.
