Shunyata Everest-X

I have replaced my Denali 6000/S V2 and Sigma V2 XC with an Everest-X and Sigma-X XC. The distributor drives a Luxman M-10X amp, Esoteric Grandioso C1X solo pre, Esoteric K-01XD SACD player, and an Aurender N20 server via (1) Alpha-X and (3) Alpha V2 NR PCs. The new distributor/PC takes a long time to break in (at least 200 hours). What I hear: More dynamic, dense, yet refined sound. Bass has more gravitas. Notes on some recordings have noticeably more sustain. Improved, more realistic instrument tone (especially classical music). Pricey upgrade but well worth it. Sounds like I would expect an amplifier plus front end upgrade to sound.

Awesome! Shunyata keeps pushing the bar higher and higher.
 
I just installed another X with Omega PC in a huge system ( M7) and the difference was immediately there. There is just noise that you don't realize you have until you don't. It improves low and high level resolution, more "air" and 'space", greater micro and macro dynamics and a general sense of damn this is great.
 
i have the everest 8000 and the led is green.
i'm in the process of ordering everest x black and i want blue led
 
So it seems they build them with both colors. I suppose therefore when you order a new Everest-X you could specify what color you want.

Shunyata has announced the Everest X shelf version, same performance as the tower, same price 15000 same color options and now until I/31/2026 buy it with the Omega X XC c19 power cord for the promotional price of 18000.00
retail is 23000.
NO substitutions !
 
I did an installation yesterday at a client that both Mike and I have done business with. I installed two typhon T-30 set up with the custom dedicated cables ( these are made for the T-30 twisted with special locking connectors) to the wall and to the clients amplifiers at 240 volt to accommodate his amps. THis is being used now finally with an Everest X and an Omega power cord for the X. Its not an inexpensive solution for sure but in a system with serious components and speakers the result is fantastic. The noise level is just sliced to the bone and the result coming form the Magico M-9's/D'Agostino electronics and Wadax Reference front end is truly world class and even more important the client is finally thrilled. ( long story lol)
