Shunyata Everest-X

I have difficulty wrapping my head around all these different levels of grounding cables. I made my own from milspec 20AWG pure silver wire in teflon jacket with rhodium plated spades. I don't hear any difference between those and PVC coated hookup wire, or Sigma v1 grounding cables for that matter. I have a lot of Shunyata gear but the pricing on the -X models has turned me away from upgrading what I have.

...I have recently received the Everest X and it replaced a Denali and a Typhon 2 driving the front end of my system....
I have a Typhon QR which I connect to an Audio Replas duplex port and the other duplex port connects a Denali 6000/v1. I have to run it in parallel because the Denali when connected in series with the Typhon QR upsets my Esoteric Grandioso C1X (it throws up a warning message and won't start). Typhon QR plugged into the duplex by itself no warning message on the C1X. I have a basic line EMI meter and in the parallel configuration the Typhon QR drops the EMI by a lot. The Denali by itself doesn't drop the EMI by much at all. I wonder if a Typhon QR + Everest 8000 will be equivalent performance to Everest-X?

I doubt that. The Everest X IMO is something really special and their best work yet

I think that there are a few too many choices myself but relatively ground cables are not crazy money.

Just in news flash
The Denali V2 upgrade to Denali X has been announced
The cost is 2500 plus shipping
It requires a dealer to obtain an RMA
the unit is shipped to the factory , gets full internal rebuild and testing, and then the unit is returned
this requires scheduling

That does not look like a full width component??

Contrasting it with the Denali-X and it looks to me to be full width. The CGS terminals on the Everest occupy the same amount of horizontal space as the third duplex occupies on the Denali. The Everest-X is almost twice as tall so it might be giving the impression that it’s not as wide.
