Norman, thank you for your condolences and reminder to be positive and stay strong. I know Mum will be looking down on me and want me to be happy. So very sorry to hear this David. Huge loss, I know. Try to keep strong and treasure her memories.
Cyril, thank you for your very kind words and condolences. As someone who has gone through what i'm experiencing, I appreciate your advice all the more. I was very close to my mum, so losing her has been hard. Still I promise to live by the values she taught me & visit her memorial site often. I also plan to have some nice photos of her framed so she is remembered.David...I just saw this. Please accept my heartfelt condolences for your loss. My thoughts are with you and your family. I lost both my parents in the past 6 years and it is a loss that will be felt forever but hopefully the loving memories you carry in your heart of your Mum will keep her close to you always. I am sorry she had to suffer through CJD.
Thanks for your condolences Charles, and Amen. Yes it's a tough time right now for our family, especially Dad. I got to spend a lot of quality time with Mum in the last 15 years incl: going away on trips, and visited her often in the hospice, so I feel like i've loved my Mum with all my heart and have no regrets. It's just the coming to terms with her loss which will take time..David, my condolences. May your Mum rest in peace. Hope everything is OK after the grief. I lost mine years ago and still think of her everyday.
--Charles
