I just took delivery today of these two nifty devices. Setup took all of twenty minutes.
Amazing how far off my VPI Classic 2's speed was when just running the tachometer to check speeds. Actually, it wasn't terribly far off speedwise, but it was bouncing back and forth below and above 33.3 by quite a margin. With both of the new PE units in place, now the speed is super accurate fluctuating between 33.332 and 33.336 or so. Now I just need to dress the cables that run to the units with some wire-loom as the little PSU and Tach boxes are located below my turntable between the feet and I can see the cables running all over due to their coiling/kinks from packaging.
