Hi Sharks-
I'm looking at purchasing a phono stage in the near future and would like some input. I've done a lot of reading and have narrowed my options to the Rogue Audio Triton, the Project Phono Box RS, and the Dynavector p75 mk3. Unfortunately I'm unable to hear any of them before purchase, but all have been very positively reviewed, and I would likely be taking advantage of an online retailers trial period.
I'm using a Technics 1700 and AT OC9/ii, Wyred 4 Sound STP-SE, and First Watt F6. I listen to moden jazz (Gogo Penguin), electronic music of all kinds, reggae, and a whole lot of other stuff. I love DETAIL, but can't stand a brittle or lean sound. My top three priorities are detail, speed, and tonal density/richness (even if it means sacrificing "neutrality").
Just looking for input from anyone who's used these products. If you have a suggestion for other preamps I should be looking at, by all means throw them out there. I've been incredibly impressed by the wealth of knowledge that exists on this forum.
Thanks! :hey:
