VERY nice David !!!

Great, another box to chase :) Love it. Can't wait for your impressions.

Nice! I like the lights on the feet too, but then we all knew I would notice that.:D Not that the aqua green color is bad, it isn't, but I still wonder if one can get those with deeper blue lights? Shiny things and blue lights:celebrate008_2:

Of course, I'm just dreaming or something as I know those things are more than the cost of at least 1 year of rent, but I just think they are really nice.

Well, I listened for about an hour after the unit warmed up for about 30 min with the D5's. I have Soulutions, Accuphase, Constellation, and Pass Labs in my shop. The NuVista does not sound like any of the above. It does not sound like any integrated that I have ever heard. It plays with great slam and attack. The midrange is incredibly smooth and natural. Everything seems to stay in control, although the bass is a touch heavy at the moment. The tone is so smooth and natural, that I do not have anything to compare it to. I need more ears in my shop to help explain what I am hearing

Beautiful....brings back fond memories of my TriVista 300 Integrated with that massive outboard power supply . Tight-fisted control, dynamics to die for but all with a kind of easy tube finesse. I am sure the NuVista 800 must be all of these things but even more refined .

Update. The difference in the bottom end that I was hearing was because my guy plugged the unit directly into the wall outlet. All of my gear normally goes into a Mainz 8 and then into an Accuphase power supply. What I was hearing was just the absence of the Mainz 8 and power supply. The sound is amazing and I cannot wait to hear what it's like around Sunday evening when it has some time on it.

David...congrats on getting it in. Fond memories for me as I started out in the high end with am MF integrated and CD player (the lowly A5 series). This I am sure is many notches above. Can you remind us what this bad boy retails for? Also it is a one boxer, right? I remember some of MF's larger integrateds were two box deals with a separate power supply, as was mentioned earlier with the Trivista 300 series for example. Just curious. Thanks and lookling forward to your impressions as the unit breaks in some more.
