Nord One Up Ncore NC500 amps, Class D ready for prime time .....

Great material for thought. It may well be that my chronic tinnitus means nothing, and I experienced a placebo effect, but I don’t think so. Anyway, I do think manufacturers are smart to encourage op amp rolling as reasonable people can, it appears, disagree over the outcome.

Uh, you must be channeling Jerry Lewis as I’ve no clue whether that’s a left handed compliment or a joke.

Samoyed, I'm sorry, i don't speak english well and it seems that I did not understand subtleties in your text.
I really think you're right, but it's not a compliment or a joke, just a fact.

Jesus H., if something is subject to reasonable disagreement it can never be more than an opinion, n’est pas? You must BE Jerry Lewis. ;)

For those with a Nord MK II, either op amp, to really see how it can provide space, sound stage, detail and bass, try a high res version of Lucinda Williams’ Sweet Old World. Put aside the music genre and just listen!

If in the UK, why not ask Colin for a demo? At my age, with chronic tinnitus, I doubt I’d hear the difference, but I certainly lust after one. SWMBO would outright kill me, and I’m already eating cat food.... Maybe Colin would give you the 14 day home demo on revision D, or credit for it against the new amp if D didn’t scratch your itch?

Well, at least it may be quick. We are on a slow freight to Hell. Likely, the amp will sound bright out of the box until it warms up. Which did you buy?

:). Wait until you see the exterior and interior workmanship. And, Colin is a great guy, always available for questions.

If this is the guy in Atlanta, he is in my opinion a crap for brains. He is the U.S. Kinki dealer, and after a brief and weird email exchange, I took a walk. Strange guy.
