i bought a record off amazon. it said it was 180g audiophile recording, in "like new" condition. was boz scaggs silk degrees. well i received it this morning and first off it was not a 180g pressing but the original 1976 record, and it was super shiny and strange looking. when i looked closer all the grooves were smoothed out and gone?????? wtf???
i of course had to test it and the stylus shot right across the record.lol. i lifted it quickly. first time i ever saw that , i sent a couple messages out to amazon and the seller. see what happens.
guess thats what happens when you buy a like new 180g record for only $10.lol.
any ideas how that happens, besides sandpaper???
