New SF speakers coming

Are the woofers in the II and III models 9"? The specs on Sf's website are not fully clear about this, but they mention that they are "direct descendants" from the 9" woofer used in the Aida... They look smaller on the pictures, though.

Smaller than Aida woofers is correct

Dewey they are not yet priced - still waiting on finalized BOM.

By the way, now that I am back I can tell you that I missed you over the weekend. Was in Berkeley for a training Saturday through Tuesday. Unfortunately with a power outage at Sumiko all day Friday, Saturday was a full prep day well into the night. No free time :(

Work is more important Bill.. Time is on our side my friend..

P.S. It'll just be better aged next time..:D

Hopefully these prices are actually accurate:

"...Sonus Faber launched an entire new line of loudspeakers at High End 2013 called Olympica. The I (€4700/pr.,), II (€7500/pr.,), and III (€10,100/pr.)..."

If so, they would be in line with the Cremona series, which signals its eventual demise... The Liuto series is now fully absent from SF's website. There seems to be an Olympica "IIII" (sic) coming out later this year as well. Maybe shaped like the Elipsa?

Very much in the general ball park. Actual pricing to be announced after the show.

Great find on the rough pricing Esteban!!:woot:

I was way off on my guess, thanks to a misidentification of non-existent rear-firing tweeter. Beautiful speakers, as always.

Have US prices been confirmed for the Olympica series? Curious to see them in graphite, too.

I want to see them personally
I think SF are the Ferraris of speakers
Just mind blowing beautiful

Awesome vid !

Never heard about the Parva speaker (even though I visited Sonus faber back in 1999) - looks like it was based on a Davis midwoofer, which was unique for SF.

We can only see the Snail in this visit to the Sonus Faber factory. I have owned a Quid amplifier pair long ago - now I regret having sold it , it would look so nice close to my Musica ...

Vicenza - Home of Sonus faber. - Euphonia Audioforum

BTW, these used Parva's were sold in Denmark :
