It is a gorgeous table (*as a fellow owner, I can attest to this..lol)
I just hate that some folks like to say it looks like an ITable....Ugggg..I am NOT an apple lover
Glad you are happy Doug !!! I know I am ...Jeff is to thank for my final decision...
Thanks Rob. I really like this simplicity of this table. It may be their lower end table but it still has that quality and feel of a well engineered German product. One thing that I really like about it is when you lift the arm off the record with the lever and slide the arm into the clasp, you can keep the lever up and it doesn't come in contact with the arm. I like this because, hopefully, it will keep me from dropping the needle onto the record accidentally.

Agree...I like that too ! And the nice slow cuing...
Are you pre-spinning the platter before starting ?
Its cool because you get into a rhythm ..cuing, spinning,,,ahhhh
Thanks Michael. What do you have now?
One album I bought that I have digitally is Ben Harper's "Fight for your mind." I listen to the digital files and think to myself that it really sounds good. It has good presentation, nice solid bass, clean vocals. I start to wonder why I just spent all this money on a vinyl set up. Next I put on the album. It may not be readily apparent at first but as I listen I find myself easing into the couch, listening to how all of the instruments are balanced out, and loving the richness and naturalness of the music. Ahhh yes, this is why I just spent all that money on a vinyl set up...
