I've always wanted something fun, quick and with a little storage room. I think this is perfect.

WOW! Awesome Joe. I love the color. It must handle incredible and be soooo much fun to drive! Permagrin every time you drive it!

Joe I love the type R and the color is awesome!
I agree that you have the best of everything with this car.

Thank you gentlemen, I have never had anything like this and I still can't believe it.

Very nice, congrats and enjoy!

When it's time for a little more umph, check out the JB4.

Thanks Mike!

I've been reading about all the upgrades. It came with a 6 year, 72K mile bumper to bumper warranty. That brought me over the edge. I have not even tried to open it up yet, but it feels fast already.

It's a blast to drive. I was going to be more "practical" with a Golf S or GTI but this was calling me for years. It felt so right and I am ecstatic.

That is the Swiss knife of small cars. Fast, competent, practical, with all the everyday virtues of a Golf, but with attitude. Do I have one? No, but it was close.

Joe, in your picture, what is going on where the front license plate goes... looks like a reflection but can’t quite make it out?

Very cool little car, and while blue isn’t my color it looks awfully good. Have fun!

:)

I tried to blur it out but the computer that I'm using right now has no real editing software. The blue was not my first choice but now that I have it, I love it. NY/LI is not the best market to choose what you want on these cars.

We bought a Golf III back in 95, I loved that car. A couple months right after getting it paid off my son totaled it. It was a 2 door and after it was wrecked it was not to be again.

VW did have an audio system option with Dynaudio but I'm not sure if that still exists. It would have been interesting to hear if it lived up to the name. Fender is an interesting name to have on a factory audio system.

Enjoy Joe

Thank you so much, I hope your son was fine after the accident.

I have a friend who has the same models a few years older and its absolutely stunning. I'd drive one with no issues. Unfortunately I'm stuck with soccer mom crossover for several years as the kids grow up.

Nice car Joe!

Thank you Skip. I can not stop smiling. I have not even come close to feeling the true acceleration/experience.

It's been raining here on and off for the past few days. The car feels stuck to the road. So confidence inspiring, it's amazing.
