My Lampizator 211's are here ....

Joe...you know what this means ? :D

Once these babies are properly broken in, you will have to do a Lampi vs. CJ shoot-out! :exciting:

Thank you Ken. I'm not sure I could get any better sound at this point, just different. I'm happy.

It's not often you buy something & straight out of the box you fall for it with your experience Joe. I'm in the same place for now & the future is upgrade some cables & maybe the stand-mounts. Congrats Joe, nice to see the Lampi gear living up to the hype.

Aweful purdy Joe. How is the heat output compared to previous tube amps u have own. Looks extremely well made and I love that his designs r unique and based on best sound not just going with traditional concepts. Enjoy them

Thank you Nick. I agree, they sound great. Heat is pretty high. They more I run them, I think they are a little hotter than the LM219. Sound quality is awesome.

Joe can you speak about Soundstage size and 3D-ness?

Norman,

Music fills the room, huge 3D sound stage, not just top to bottom and left to right but great depth, air and separation. I'll say it again, Lukasz is a genius. The Lampizator DAC into the amps is such a wonderful combination. Simple, direct and so musical. Just a killer combo.

Wow!

It is what I heard Lukasz promising, but I needed to hear it from someone outside the Lampi company. Seems like he outdid himself.

Also, with the Bal config the differntial summator will cancel out all digital noise as well. So unless the tubes themselves are noisy, the chain should be dead quiet.

Mike, is a Bal GG with 211 amps and Taka/Elrog/WE 300b tubes on the horizon?

How is noise level Joe, would these be quiet enough for something like my Westminster's?

Seems very quiet. I need to listen again tonight with my ear closer to the tweeters, but if there was too much noise, I think I would have noticed by now. I do get a little pop through the speakers when I toggle the bias switch for each 211 tube.

Overall, very quiet. These could be killer on your Westies.

how is the house Lampi 211 sound vs the LM you used to own? more vintage, more modern, etc.

I assume the additional p/p power is beneficial on the Strads...

Keith,

I'd say a touch more "modern" but better in EVERY way. And YES, the additional power is very welcome.

Joe, put the four of these that you have in and the modern will turn to classic!

Love it, Joe! Congrats again on another great set of amps!! :audiophile:

I think the fact that the amps were designed around the Balanced Dac makes it a match made in heaven. Diff summator and no phase splitting may be the key...

Whatever Lukasz is doing with the amps, he is definitely on to something. The amps work beautifully. I need to get some sleep because the music keeps me up listening. It's a wonderful thing, 211's rock!
