That's the selection I wanted to see and these were my impressions:
- Magico (S3 mk2, M3) in A4.1 F108
Quite interesting, I find they have a slightly different sound signature compared to the mk1s.
- Lansche Audio (5.2) in A4.1 E111
The previously sometimes a little thin bass not an issue with the 5.2s, but it was a bit boomy (maybe the room)
- Avantgarde (Uno XD) in A4.1 E124
Only Trio XD on live display - simply phantastic, very natural presentation. Agree with Mike, contender for best LS.
- TAD (ME1) in A4.1 F118 (Audio Components I guess)
Quite liked them, need a proper demo with better electronics. Good bass, highs maybe sticking out a bit (might have been the mid-fi Onkyo amp)
- Vandersteen (CT4 Wood) A4.1 E108
Smooth presentation compared to e.g. the Rockports next door in a Solution chain. Might have expected a bit more, potentially the not very powerful Brinkman electronics lacked a bit of oomph for a stronger presentation
- Raidho, Aavik, Ansuz (D2.1, Aavik separates) in A4.2 E227
I guess they struggled with the room, as they did not manage to tame the D3.1s bass in the room
- Audia Flight (Strumento No.4/ 8) in A4.1 F122
New Audia Flight separates were nice, but I do not have to throw out my Ayres right away to replace them
- T+A (PA 3100 HV with separate power supply) in A3.1 D102, A3.1 D103, A3.1 D105
As expected the HV3100 with the separate power supply had improved in the bass to a significant extent, but T+A own LS muddled up the presentation quite a bit. Need to hear them with different LS, potentially very interesting.
- Constellation Audio in A4.1 F118
Only saw passive display.
- Nagra (HD DAC, Classic Pre/ Amp) in A4.2 E217 and Halle 3 K05
Demo with Wilson left me wanting, no idea why it did not appeal to me.
- Meitner (DA-2, MA-1 V2 upgrade) in A4.1 E111
DA-2 ok with Lansche, but way better in the Magico room (S3 mk2).
- Reed (Muse 3C) in Halle 1 D05, Pass (XA100) in A4.1 F108, Tellurium Q (Black Diamond line) in Halle 3 K05, Halle 3 N10/P13
Did not listen to them.
