I love meters for sure - but these are pretty ugly in my opinion.

I like meters on SOME pieces of gear. These Constellation meters are terrible I agree.

Agreed - some meters are great but too many and it quickly becomes too much.

Great question.

I think Vinnie Rosso hopped on that bad wagon with meters as well. And the TEAC amps with their retro-champagnes color meters I think look great. IMO when Rose put digital meter option on their large panel that helped bring the meter coolness to lower priced gear. And don't forget Advance Paris gear. NAD also hopped on that bandwagon.

But I think you could make a case for D'Agostino certainly having been the starter of this retro Trend. It's weird - sometimes I look at the D'Agostina meters and like them, and sometimes I don't
