McIntosh and MC601's rock! .....

Some audiophiles don't consider McIntosh audiophile gear. I beg to differ. I love what my MC601's are doing to my TADs. Yes, they are still breaking in and were terrible out of the box (like many other amps that I've had) but now they are starting to sweeten up and smooth out. I don't remember the meters being this HUGE! Tons of power and maybe not as holographic as some amps that I've had, but the whole package makes me happy. And, isn't that the point? The C500T will wait until tomorrow to be hooked up as I am getting familiar with the amps direct from my EAR Acute III CD/DAC. They are worth every penny! Thanks McIntosh.

Yes, the meters seem bigger than I remember and the build quality seems so much better too. I like what I am hearing so far. I love the Job but want a big ballsy SS amp to complement the CJ gear.

Thank you Paul.

I have to say right now I absolutely love the amps. I do most of my listening late at night and in a darkened room. My C500T should be in the system in a couple of days. The amps are wonderful.
 
Joe, forgot to mention. If anyone thinks that McIntosh aren't up to the grade of our hobby, one saying comes to mind. "Your doing it wrong!!"
