The 601's did VERY well in round three of the blind shootout today. The guys preferred the CARY first, but the Mc/Dag tied for second.

Joe, I am the same with the Sanders Magtech amp. 18 months later & I again have them driving the 20.7's this time. I think it's to do with the quality of the amps we've had in our own space & now the equation of will it be better has been erased as it is now the knowledge of different, not necessarily better.

I know exactly how you feel. I guess we look for a certain sound, right or wrong, if it makes us happy, that's all that matters. I am glad you are enjoying the music again.
