M3's arrival

Hey bobwah- great idea and I will, but not until I have about 300 hours on the M3's. I run the M3's 24/7 with my "ocean waves" tracks and use all SS to do that. Will connect the Absolare (hybrid) integrated as soon as the initial break in is complete.

The Absolare integrated is a stellar combination with ALL of the S's, so it should be great with the M3's.

Dont want to hijack this thread, but have you experienced the absolare integrated with the s1 mkii? I'm driving my pair with Arc gs150 and Ref 5Se but am thinking about simplifying my system and free some rack space. Would the absolaire be as good match or would I be downgrading? I'm also considering the new Nagra Classic int and the pass int 250. Thanks!

Hi, the Absolare sounds great with any of the S series, including the S1II, which as you know are great speakers. Although the Nagra and Pass are all great choices as well, for me it would come down to personal preference.

I think sonically your existing systems is VERY good and no matter what anyone says I don't think that you would know if you liked one of the mentioned Integrateds unless you tried it in your room with the rest of your system.

It is not easy to try all the possibilities specially because each of ease brands have a different dealer here, so I'm trying to narrow down my choices to facilitate the process. Your input was very helpful and I'll surely add the absolaire to my shortlist
