You may also try the Lumin setting of Resampling 44.1kHz to DSD, see how it compares against native 44.1kHz PCM.

I like this, especially for vocals. Smoother and sweeter vocals. Wonderful.

I rechecked this issue on iPhone, and I believe the reason you didn't see the buttons Joe posted in #30 is because your app is set to "Single Tap" instead of "Double Tap".

Thanks Peter, haven't done much experimenting with the up sampling features yet as I'm still getting a feel for the D1 native.
 
Been listening to this D1 for the past month, almost every day. I love it. Great sound reproduction with everything I've tossed its way, great stability / reliability and easy to operate with my iPhone....a perfect fit for my digital needs. So glad I ventured down this Lumin-path. Thanks again Mike.
