Thanks Randy. And if we weren't 3500 miles apart, I'd just might take you up on that. Well, that and it NOT being 100+ degrees outside over there in CA. It's nearly 100 here as well, hence why I wash the car around 8 am... In the shade!

No updates on my system. It's all the same as it was before. I've just been enjoying it for a while, though I haven't touched the turntable since I installed that Ortofon Bronze. Since that time, things have been a little crazy with family and work. Not to mention, messing around with the Z doing research and such. However, now that things are calming down with all of that, I'll be able to settle down and enjoy some vinyl again... Hopefully.

And yes, I noticed the couple tweaks you've done, including the Marantz and Ampzilla. Actually, I was surprised that you got rid of the Wyred amp.
 
Well the Ampzilla is a really really nice amplifier.... it is actually built at the Wyred facilities and is considered their higher end lineup... the darn thing is heavy.... over 40 pounds...

BTW--- not over 100 where I live but is not that far from us. Very strange out here... up over the grade (mountain range that goes in land) it is really hot, up in the wine country.... Atascadero, Paso Robles... it is about 30 degrees lower here than up there. :D

I had a feeling they were built by or at the Wyred plan because of those Wyred feet on them. It's a darn nice amp, and should be for the asking price. Congrats!

My friend lives in Folsom, and the other night he texted me a pic in his car, at 10 pm, 104 degrees.

Hey Mike, thanks! If I end up headed out that way, I'll definitely let you know. Now that I'm starting to get a little time freed up, I can probably make some trips outs and around. Just have to have a reason to head out that way. Maybe there's some good roads out that way to cruise around in that you know about.
 
It's hard to take good pics of this, but here it is. Vinyl wrap on the roof to tie in the front and rear glass. I went with the metallic gloss black. Looks great in person and matches the stock wheels perfectly!

I was also thinking about doing it in paint, but this is a little cheaper... Well, a lot cheaper, a lot quicker, and is fully reversible down the road if need be or your tastes change.
 
Still waiting for my hand crafted carbon fiber front lip to come in from Japan, but while I'm waiting, I ordered a new clutch pedal assembly. The stock one sucks, no feel, no feedback of any kind, and the narrowest window where the clutch actually grabs (friction window), causing many jerky 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd gear shifts. It makes you look and feel like you just learned how to drive a stick.

This aftermarket one is all laser cut, designed and hand assembled by one man up in Canada. It's fully adjustable on the fly with a turn of a knob. You can adjust the friction window to anything you like for quicker shifts or smoother modulation or anywhere in between. You can also have that window anywhere in the travel of the pedal, all the way at the top, all the way at the floor, or anywhere in between. On top of that, you can also adjust the physical height of the pedal as well as the weight of the pedal.

Well darn it, I did it again. Now that I'm waiting for both the lip spoiler and the clutch assembly to arrive, I've been browsing the net for other goodies. This time, improving that good ole' exhaust flow in the way of an HKS Hi-Power cat-back exhaust system. Fun times!

I'm still debating on going with high-flow cats or resonated test pipes, since we have no emissions tests down here. No need to upgrade the stock exhaust manifolds as they are actual equal length shorty headers. Everyone says upgrading them only nets you maybe 4-5 whp. Not enough for gain for the major PITA of removal of the stockers and installation of the new.

I'd be better off spending that money converting over to E85 as there are gains of up to nearly 20 hp and torque possible across the board with a tune and stock GT-R injectors.

My wife's new Challenger. Scat Pack Shaker package (6.4L with a Shaker Hood). We have owned several performance cars in the past (from Vettes to 911's and various others), and I have to say that this Challenger is one of the most fun we have had. Tons of room inside, lots of power, fairly decent handling and incredibly smooth ride. It's quite a blast really. The 6.4 also sounds quite amazing....

I'll stick with 93. I'm upgrading to equal length long tube headers with no cats. I'll net at least 30 HP.
