Yes, hopefully the Berkeley Reference DAC should arrive around the same time as the new 211's and I will try them together. I am one who believes a preamp is necessary but I'll give this combo a chance. I have another balanced DAC that can go direct as well.

Thank you Ken. I could not resist. If the Line Magnetic had more power, it would kill on any speaker. I am excited to try the new 100wpc Lampi amps. Could be stunning.

Thanks Mike, with 100wpc, no limitations. I am sure they will kill on both my Strads AND 40.1's.
