Kharma Speakers ?

I heard a white pair in SF about 6 months ago. THey are with out question one of the prettiest, nicest finished speakers with sort of built in stands I ever saw. The finish looks like a just polished white cream Bentley. The sound was OK, but not as wow as the sheer beauty of the speakers.

I did auditioned this speakers again...and I LOVED it...hmmmm....maybe time to do a home audition..

Jonathan Valin used to have Kharmas as his long-term references for quite a few years before he jumped on the Magico bandwagon. He recenty reviewed these at various shows and was very impressed with them. He said the knock with the last generation of Kharmas that many had was that for many people they were too thin and dry sounding, while doing all the hifi things (resolution, imaging, staging, etc...) like the best. He seems to think the current generation, fronted by the DB-9, has filled out the sound to sound more organic, with fuller-bodied sound, great bass, and still maintains customary Kharma strengths mentioned above.

Thanks Cyril. I spent some time with audition few speakers yesterday. The ML CLX ( with some modified ) with Boulder amp - oh boy I loved it. Maggie's 3.7 with Cary int amp. - the mid was so thin. Alexia with Mc601's - as usual I liked it. Accapella with Linn product ...However the DB09s with Moon audio was very nice. One of best bass I ever heard. So full ,tight and the speed was just amazing.

I really need a home audition on these speakers. ;)
