Yes. So you got NOS tubes.
Supposed to be much better than the current EH.
And I can see that your unit had a Mc clinic. Nice !

When did you pick up the pair of the little ASL Waves? I had a pair when they first came out about twelve years ago.
 
Hi Jack,

I got them from a friend about 2 years ago, maybe a little more. They had been upgraded a little by rerouting wires and adding some Dynamat. I added some cryoed tubes and they sound amazing. I should try them on the Strads. My Cary 300b SE amps should be back from being upgraded by Cary on Monday or Tuesday. So exciting.

Might be an interesting experiment, but don't know if you will get much more than "late night" sound levels. Only speaker I owned that they would push comfortably was the little Reynaud Twins.
 
I'm going to hear Audio Note speakers and electronics with a friend this weekend. I think it will be wonderful.
 
Glad you're loving those two sets of speakers Joe. Now it's time to step up into a pair of Devore's. ;-)
