2-3 weeks they told me (late Oct/Early Nov). You are on the preorder list automatically if you order now, I think.
 
Thanks, I will give it another week to ten days and order one then. Maybe someone here will decide to move theirs on by that time. Will be the first new amp for the main room in six years. Have just been rotating between the four different ones in their now.

Hi wisnon, how would that work? I tried ordering 2 days ago but it just states that it's sold out at the moment.
 
I guess if you order and pay now, you jump to near the head of the line??

If uncomfortable with that, wait 10 days like Jack suggested and plunk down for one then...
 
Guys, I know this is not the place so I will keep it short.
Been out of the High-End scene for +15 years, is there some simple info / link that can tell me how to run-in my new gear. Back-in the days I had some CD with Pink Noise and thrown a blanket over the speakers for like 48 hours.

I do the same as you did 15 years ago now, except I use an Ocean Wave cd as if I can still hear it through the blankets it has a soothing effect rather than a bothering effect.

I maintain that the best way to break in speakers is vinyl. Play lots of vinyl. The woofers moving in and out like crazy work wonders.

As for other gear, turn it on, press play and walk away. I play mine softly at night and louder during the day. It can be a painful process, but it's all part of the journey.
 
My amp arrived Monday and I've had it hooked up breaking in yesterday. Even right out of the box, it sounds fantastic. This amp has such nice detail, excellent reverberation edges (like a really first class tube amp), and everything I've listened to so far sounds really good. This definitely is a world class amp and one that I could see using as my only power amp for the rest of time. There is plenty of power to propel my ELAC BS403 speakers (4ohm, 86db) and is a perfect match for their Jet5 AMT Heil tweeters. This is just the combination that I've been looking for. Tremendous detail yet no harshness, no brightness, just tons of detail and space between the notes and delightfully smooth and rich. I'll let the amp break in for another week and then do a serious comparison with my NCore monobloc amps. I'll be reporting back.

Unfortunately there is no possibility to order... Otherwise I would just have placed it :sneaky:

Guess I just have to keep checking their website and this forum:peace:
 
It let me place one in the cart in Paypal, but I didn't complete the transaction. I don't see anywhere on the website where it says they are not available or that you can't place the order. Did you try to complete the order through PayPal? It says if they have no stock they will notify you after you place an order and tell you what the projected delay time is.
 
You can place it in the cart but it's not possible to complete the order through PayPal...
 
Thanks for trying it newbie79. Guess they don't want to take preorders then. Guess we will have to wait on wisnon to give us the word again since that is contrary to how they say on the website the order process works.
 
Please do not forget that they are going direct sales for the first time. There will be some issues but this is all great news for Job. Interest in their products is extremely high. I am excited for them and us.
