Jeff aka A/V Solutions system

Very cold too here on the Island at night. ...Watching BR movies on a plasma TV helps in warming up the mansion.
...And with seven power amplifiers running (two amps; a stereo one and a 5-channel one), that does have an added warming effect.

By the way we got our first snow yesterday. :lookatthat:

* PMC speakers, I dig it.

Nights have been down in the high 20's which is really not all to common in my parts of the woods.....

Minus 35° Fahrenheit (-37° Celsius) today in Alberta, between Calgary and Edmonton.
...Tomorrow minus 40° Fahrenheit (-40° Celsius)!

Here on the Island near Victoria (I'm at), it's minus 5° Celsius (+23° Fahrenheit) right now.

* The USA should convert to the same metric system (scale) as the rest of the world.
Who's in charge of that?

All I can say it's been balmy here with -4C here lately

Is that due to global warming?

Dan, are you near Montreal?

Must be, temperature were about 3-5 C lower when I was a kid and less variation in temperature, a big difference between snow and rain when the temperature hovers around 0 C.

Yes I live in the West Island.

Dan

Jeff, where are you? We're patiently waiting for an update. My guess is he's in heaven but then again he could be fighting the tube demon

No tube demons here.....heaven sums it up nicely! its truly a wonderful piece :audiophile: The IO may come a bit sooner ;)

I should get my IO upgraded to Partial Eclipse although it sounds so perfect right now I can't help but wonder how much better it can get!!!!!

Haven't had experience with IO Sig only Eclipse version......People I've spoke with going from Sig to partial are thrilled with the upgrade.

Here is a shot of the Audia Flight Phono Stage......I like how they did the separate power supply (its on the right) also the simple looks! Has great features like multiple gain settings, loading options and two inputs for those running multiple arms or tables (my favorite feature) You have the choice of MM and MC or two MC, that's what I went with. The build is top notch along with its sound. IMO this piece easily competes with anything in its price class or above, tube or SS.

Having tried that one recently in my system I have to concur with your comment, that's the closest yet to my IO. Tube like sound in an SS package with dual input, a big feature for me too. And price is pretty amazing for what you have.
