Not to worry.....plenty of trial runs in the future![]()
Nice I've read alot about shelter. Never heard any. Was looking at a used 9000 but without hearing it I can't buy a cartridge.
Best of luck with it. Setting cartridges up makes me nervous.
Still scary, do you use hi fi news test record?? Or something else.
Received my AccuTrak Protractors.....I did a few comparisons with my Uni-ProTractor, Mint LP, Dr. Feickert, and Clearaudio alignment tools and I have to say the Accu-Trak is as good and even better IMO.....My favorites have always been arc type protractors like the Mint LP but they can be difficult to read and they will give your eyes a good work out! Not so with the Accu-Track at least for me.
Each Accu-Track has Stevenson, Baerwald and Loefgren arcs and alignments, I like the fact all three are incorporated on the same jig.....

Hey Rob, I just checked and yes, they are on VinylEngine. Downloadable ones of course, not all fancy like Jeff has. Hmm, one could paste them on to a sturdier stock as long as it isn't thicker than it should be. I envy you guys that can actually read those things, much less see them.
AccuTrak Arc Protractors Cartridge Alignment Made Easy - Home Ken Willis is the owner and a great guy to deal with.....

Hey bud...is that the one he has on the list as the clearaudio MD 222 MM ???
There similar.....however paper templates suck to use. These are on nice sturdy stock with a transparent sheet on top and lay's perfectly flat, paper doesn't work so good IMO. Its worth the $50 each to me.
I couldn't agree more. Sadly, with these eyes of mine I couldn't even use those nice ones you have there. I can barely use the mirrored one I have and even then it's 80% guess with me I figure. I fear that I will have a hard time when it comes to re-setting up my Denon TT. That won't be for a while yet.
