Hi Jeff.....Long time no talk to, thanks for the kind words and your welcome anytime when your down in my neck of the woods.

I remember you were doing some treatments to your room, ceiling I recall....Yes?

Hey Mike.....yes its on my radar and waiting its arrival. Before it can be released in the US for distribution Lehmann must obtain the UL & CE listings which I'm told are in the works. I'm on the waiting list and check in with them every few weeks. I'll post pictures and info when I have mine.

AWESOME! The BCL is still KING in my amp collection so I'm very interested in finding out how the SE improves on that.

Thanks Jeff - I will definitely let you know when I'm back down in the Bay Area.

You are correct about the Cinema Panels on the ceiling. I still need to get around to replacing/relocating my light fixture so I can place my last two on the ceiling. Then I might look at replacing some of my other Real Traps with more cinema panels and potentially thick quarter rounds for the front corners.

Here is a pic of my room with more of a view of the ceiling:

Yeah I know...too many other things around the house like re-doing the laundry room have pushed this out. Probably should just have an electrician out to redo/extend the wiring for me, and have them run another dedicated 20 amp line while here...

Jeff
Beautiful room indeed. What's the name of the speakers that are connected to the amps?

They look like Joseph Audio. Am I correct?

Jeff, it looks like some of your tables have dust covers and some do not. Do you generally recommend for or against? What about those little cartridge covers?

Jon.....I typically don't use them except on the record cleaning machine, however I had an extra one laying around so I use it on the Merrill Williams table. Since I have alot of gear up front I wouldn't want a bunch of reflective surfaces in that location. In regards to the cartridge covers I do use them because I'm alway working on and around the turntables.

Beautiful Jeff!!!!! If I'm good when I die, I'm hoping to end up someplace like that !! Lol
I see you run an entirely different set of gear with each table.
Do you ever flip back and fourth switching tables to gear?
I'd like to know what your opinions are on phonostages and cartridges that you use there
Ones you feel are the best in the room?
And once again, the best room ever!!!!!
And those Joseph's are gorgeous.

Hi Steve......thanks!

I swap all the tables and phono stages around.......being my amps are out and up front I just route the cables to anyone of the pre's I own, from there I cable to what ever source I choose to use. A few 3 meter cables allow me to run any combo. The gear on the three racks off to the side will get moved in to the center rack when I want to run one of those pieces. In regards to what's best phono/cartridge combo would be difficult for me to answer, my mood changes often as to what set up I run plus each set up brings something different to the party. Bottom line for me is I can't live with just one :o

Added the MyDacII......I'll be using this with my headphone rigs. There seems to be a surge of these moderate priced Dacs hitting the market the past few years. Spent a bit of time last night listening and its quite good.

You can see clearly now the rain is gone?
You can see all obstacles in your way
Gone are the digital clouds that had you blind
Its gonna be a bright bright bright analog day...
