In line with Jay, Mike & Elliot....

I'm curious of Mike's view on this. For him, it has seemed less of a battle, and more of a functional business issue; if it doesn't work, don't use it. Do dealers need to have more independent support from manufacturers for marketing, and stop putting dealers into the crosshairs of the current marketing institutions? Do they need to step up and decrease the capital risk of their dealers? And whom do they really want their dealers to be? I think these are the questions?
Mike can of course speak for himself however these are excellent questions . Money is always an issue , there is too many products and not enough money for sure. I think customers want to see everything however that is not the recipe for the best results IMO. Expertise and results IMO are the most important to get value from what you buy.

perhaps posting is not the best way to communicate. I am always available at my place of business and I answer my phone. Saturdays are not the best time however. I have explained this in my videos as well.
Elliot, you never know what is going on down the road. I deal with type A people for a living, and I will say the same things to your face that I’ll type here. Please know that.

The next time you are in Central Florida, feel free to reach out. I am in Apopka. I am working on a pair of Epiphany Audio 20/21 line arrays that Danny Richie designed, and I own the pair of Wilson Audio Duette that he did a video for and is posted to YouTube. Since the Duette speaker has an external crossover, you can hear directly what Wilson did, and what Danny did… and why “flat measuring speakers are boring (or not)”.

We will have to get by with my gear. If you don’t mind suffering with a pair of First Watt SIT-5 amps, maybe my Sony Anniversary VFETs that Nelson setup will do? Or, maybe we will have to use the XA200.5 monos? Maybe you don’t want SS and we can break out my Joule Electra VZN-80 OTL amp along with with LAP150 all tube preamp? If you want something transparent, I’ll snag the Ayre VX-5 Twenty from the back bedroom we’ll run it with the Ayre KX-5 Twenty and QX-5 Twenty. I’ve already moved along the Billet Ayre KX-R Twenty and MX-R Twenty monoblocks… so I won’t have much “BLING!!!!” for ya. Yep, lost my Street Cred. Oh, I almost forgot… next week I am heading to Port St Lucie to pickup a pair of XA160.8… maybe we wait for those? Dang… I almost forget about the Ayre V-1xe… I love that amp too.

Notwithstanding any of that, and yes… I still am busting your balls because you deserve it - maybe my ECM espresso machine will make us some coffee?

Do you like coffee, Elliot?

My room is ~35’ x 40’ with tall ceilings…it blooms... and if you haven’t heard VFET amps with a Danny Richie speaker with some treatment… I don’t care "how long you’ve been doing it", or what you’ve heard - it will enhance perspective about “rightness”.

Is “High End” only about money… or about how serious someone is about the hobby? For instance, I know a lot of @Porsche car owners who don’t have a clue about how to drive the car - I coach them on racetracks on the weekends.

Bring a DAC and a Streamer for me to hear that you think is better than my QX-5 Twenty. Coach me up, please.

I’ve got a mess going on with parts for the line arrays and a bounty of fun; although, some would call the mess a pile of passion.

Indeed, I’m sure you are much better in person than on a computer screen.

Hey… wanna watch something that’ll make you go “Hmmm…”?

As I am one of the very special 75 humans on the planet who have actually watched this, (the ladies LOVE it) I shall leave a little nugget - which may make many chuckle, nod… and affirm more of what is goin’ on, i.e., The Human Condition.

First of all - I’m sharing this for another reason and it ain’t really about “wire”, but as for that and for those of you who still figure “Mogami is good enough”, watch this for “wire” too. I used to think that and use Mogami. Mogami is OK for subs, that’s IT. I know for a fact that wire makes a difference, but that’s not the point with this and I need to get back on point.

I think I have this timestamped for ~1:31:45 and it’s with Bill Low of AudioQuest and George Cardas of… dang… what’s the name of his outfit? (I used to own Cardas Clear, still have some Clear Reflection left).

NOTE: It’s not about cryogenics, per se. It is about FEAR of what other people think. It’s why Elliot and I are now good buddies with a friendship spanning multiple days - he says what he really thinks.

I like that. Even when he screams at Danny @ EMM. I know it’s Elliot just wanting that hairdo down in “Boca”. :p

After watching this, you too will know that… even at Stereophile… “The Reviewers are scared to death of EACH OTHER."

George Cardas re “Reviewers": “…the POLITIC of their situation…yeah, but we could never admit that..."
