If you had to choose only ONE pair of speakers for rest of your life ...

Well lets see. If I had to choose only one pair, that would mean both I don't have room for 2 pairs or the money for 2 pairs so, I think I would go for the Raidho D1s because they sound great in any sized room. Plus they aren't so heavy that I could still move them when I'm 90!

My first choice would be Paradigm Studio 60s or 100s.
(Runners up would be B&W Diamonds, Golden Ear Tritons and DCM Time Frames).

Haha, totally agree, Nelson! :D

+1! :P

Some excellent choices indeed. Paul, what would be your speaker of choice? You've had some excellent ones and auditioned even tons more!

Hahahahah
But is true ....is our disease

I would ask to be buried me with
ARC tubes gear and WA just in case
In heaven they don't good systems
:D

I just bought my last pair of speakers. Assuming I do not win the Lotto, the Magico S5 is it. I am retiring in a few years, and from here on out it is save every penny to make up for the crazy stereo purchases of the last two years or so.

Well said. S5 is mine for life now unless I win lottery it is the q7

I plan on keeping my Alexias for a very long time. I will be taking them into retirement in a few years.

Under different circumstances, I do like the MBLs a lot. So that would be +3 - Mike and Jim.

Q7's on killer powerful SS

In two perfect rooms, and a wife that actually likes it when you want to play it loud late at night.
