I had the 1201, the mxr and kxr combo, and none of them have the 452 ability in this domain.

BTW today, with a friend, we listened a great combo : alexia, 452, 1100 and c2500. Awesome combo which works very fine...and my friend bought the 2500 after the listening session. We compared it to the c50 and the 2500 was the winner and not by a margin :disbelief:

I'm pretty sure it is, and, it better be at its price. From what I can recall, when I upgraded from the C2300 to a C500t I heard better control, texture, and even tone. I'm sure you will be happy with your new gear :).

As one looking to another MC amp, this thread is addictive. If I wasn't in full control of my faculties, I would be ordering an MC 452 to pair with my MC 352 to drive my betas. You folks are dangerous and exhilarating at the same time!
