Hi all,
My first few hours posting, wanted to say hello to all!
I'm a HUGE jazz, R&B, and funk fan, but really just love literally all kinds of music. Grew up in LA during one of the most recent creative peaks in musical history: the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Saw Motown give way to disco, funk, house, and hip hop; rock to punk, heavy metal, speed metal and grunge; Beatles to second Brit invasion, new wave, and electronic; post-bop to free and avant garde and beyond; world music; etc. Love it all and keep my ears open.
My interest in audio equipment comes from my father who came from Hong Kong with a love of all things hi fi that can be bought on an immigrant's budget. My interest in music comes from both my parents, who also loved music.
My signature is "keepin' it real", because we mustn't forget our roots once we've attained some success - I thank them every day for what I have! Hope you're having a great time if you're reading this!
