Hello fellow audio nu-err enthusiasts;

I am a retired electronic technician that used to be factory service for many high quality audio brands of professional and consumer components.

I am also a very very picky audiophile-this stems from my mother who used to be second chair second violins at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, under Rafeal Kubelik. She used to take me, when I was a little one, in a basket, for dress rehearsals. That has been both a blessing and a curse ever since. I have been trying to get "that sound"-realism ever since. I am willing to help others get to where I am now and look forward to suggestions of other members,tweaks,etc.

Welcome! Did you ever work on any Ampex gear?
Way way back I worked on all kinds of Ampex audio and video machines...
