After living a little more than a half century, I have decided to treat myself to better audio gear. I recently purchased a pair of Focal 1008 BE speakers and am in the process of purchasing an Ayon Spirit III amp.
 
Welcoome to AS, geedee55! Congrats on the great gear! Wow, nice jump to Focal and Ayon gear! Did you have anything else before that?

Hi Socfan12. I have a pair of B&W CM9's along with an Anthem MRX 700 and Anthem amp driving them. The system was just not cutting it. Once I heard the Focals I knew that I had to have a pair.
 
From what I remember 1008Be throws an enveloping sound and sound stage is very deep. And match very well with class A amplification. Pass XA30.5 or XA30.8 or their class A integrateds would bring out the best in them.
 
I would say the Ayon Spirit III integrated would give them a good workout too........
