Are you formal UAE citizen or you are just working there..? What are your impressions about hi fi in middle east.?

I am an expat living and working here .....been here for nearly 30 years!.....but still an expat.

We have a good community of audiophiles here - although not all brands / models are available. The ability to trade-in or exchange doesnt exist :(
McIntosh is popular - I see that you have a nice pair!! Mostly European / Japanese models are available but that's not to say US models aren't popular here.

Have you ever been to UAE ?

Ahh ok I understand perfectly.

I have been an Expat too but living in Saudi Arabia a couple of years ago... First in Daharan and the in Al-Jubail... regretfully there were not audiophiles there.

Yes I´m MC boy, with Lumin A1 and my lovely Lenco L75.

Have a nice journey in the Forum and post some pics of your gear if possible.
