I just came across tis site while searching for RMAF coverage and great coverage I found for Mike and others.

Ive been enjoying this wonderful hobby ("condition":D) for over 35 years. The equipment that makes up my current main system allows me to simply relax and enjoy the music, something I look for when I'm considering 'upgrading' components.

I look forward to reading others' comments and communicating on all things audio and music.

Hi Cavl,

Welcome to the forum. Thanks for joining. You have to tell me about your Volti speakers.

Welcome to AS!

Glad you found us.

Great system.

Thanks for welcoming me to the forum. I've had the Volti Vittora speakers for about a year and really enjoy what they do. With their high efficiency and high power handling, they are very dynamic with low to mid powered tube amps or high powered ss amplification. They definitely let you hear the differences other components make in the system, including cables. After trying a number of amplifiers, I settled on a 300B based amp, Raven Audio's Silhouette monoblocks. The result is a very natural presentation that draws you into the music.

That's great! I'd love to hear that system. Welcome!

I bet that system sounds really good !!!

I think you'd win that bet. :)

Cavi - do you have the sub?

I had breakfast with Greg on Saturday. What a nice down to earth guy. I loved his speakers. I stayed in that room for over an hour. The highlight was when he cranked AC/DC. It was like being there. I just wish I had a bigger room.

Mike,

Yes, I have the matching sub with the Vittoras. To me, it's an essential part of the system. The system will definitely play as loud as you could stand it (as it sounds like you experienced in CO), but what I really like about it is it sounds good at any loudness level. And yes, I agree that Greg is definitely one of he good guys in audio.
