Gryphon Pantheon Speakers

The clip with Hadouk Trio on my iPad with headphones is so good that it gives you some insight into how great they must sound.
Definitely looking forward to hearing these, but most likely they will be sold before I get that chance!
 
Thanks Mike, it is fantastic how you let us experience the interesting equipment halfway across the world!
I know it is very early days, but could you say at least directionally, how do Pantheons compare to Magico M speakers you had a chance to hear?

It’s like vanilla vs. chocolate ice cream, and if any one would like to see which they prefer, they should come for a visit.
 
You guys do realize when you ask me those questions, it’s a no win situation!

I was trying to be funny. Gryphon Diablo is rich, sweet and detailed. So extrapolating to the speakers... Magico is clean and transparent. IMHO at least.

Hence my recognition of the great answer! But it is too hard not to ask as it is so intriguing and there are very few who have had the experience of both. Hope you can understand, and do not hold it against me :-)

Oh no, I would have asked the same thing! But if you can come visit, then you can really hear both in a proper setup.

You would be surprised, but I am actually seriously considering coming across the Atlantic to listen and also hear what you would have to say about what to pair the incoming MSB Select with (using Naim Statement as amplification)...
Are you by chance coming over to Munich?

I’m still debating on Munich (I went last year). I’ll probably skip this year and take a short trip to Nashville with my wife. She’s always wanted to go.

You have a Select II incoming? Wow. Congrats. You will love it. It’s on another planet in terms of performance.

By pairing, do you mean amp or speakers?

I have a Naim Statement amp, and MSB Select with Femto 33, renderer and dual power supplies coming by May. I am looking at M series Magicos as the first choice. To start with, I will use Q1 that I currently have. I really want to see how they will sing...
