It is a wonderful amp, but the aesthetic definitely isn’t for everyone! Will be interested to see how it sells.
 
Heard this amp at the LA audio show last year - truly ginormous in person!

Probably the best Ive ever heard Magico sound.
 
Always did and always will love Gryphon design...
BTW just realised that I've never seen any Gryphon in silver color...
 
Mike, had a chance to test the AE against the Essence? Of course the Mephisto kicks all asses!

The Mephisto is like this giant sledgehammer that’s also like a Ferrari F1 car.

The Antilleon Evo has endless reserves and is smoooth. More laid back a bit. But has the slam and huge sound. It’s still breaking in. I will listen serious next week.

The Essence is special, special, special. It has a sweetness and encapsulating musicality. I love it.

Can’t wait for your impressions
 
I recently spoke to my dealer about auditioning the Mephisto stereo and Antileon Evo monoblocks. He was strongly encouraging me to listen to the Essence, too. He REALLY thinks highly of it.

Hi Mike.
I just listened to the video you uploaded to YouTube of the Antileon Evo. He's next to Essence. It would be very interesting to hear the same song changing the amps.
